I haven't gotten into any shit like that, just started lifting and building up naturally. I don't seem to have any rush in making myself look like a douche just yet.
I was lifting 5 days a week for a year before i did this cycle. its also not something to be rushed into, you have to do your research and know what you are doing to your body or else you will end up either losing all your gains within a month or you will really screw your hormone production up and have lots of nasty side effects, or both.
but when i say that the strength gains are happening, i am not exaggerating and its not placebo effect.

week 5 is coming to a close and there are only a few days left of my cycle.
strength is through the roof, shoulders exploded outwards and my legs grew a good bit. i started the cycle at 186 lbs trying to LOSE weight and i am finishing up the cycle at 195. wtf???
basically i threw on almost 10 pounds in the last 2 weeks.

at the beginning of the cycle i was struggling to get 3 sets of 12 with 75lb dumbbell chest press, most of the time i only got 10 on the last set. im now doing 3 sets of 12 with 85lb dumbbells.

well the cycle is over. im on day 3 of PCT. gonna taper it down over 4 weeks.
typically you want your PCT to be between 50-100% of the length of your cycle. with shorter cycles PCT doesnt have to be as long. if i had run a 4 week cycle, i would get away with a 2 week PCT. but since it ran a couple days over 5 weeks, im gonna run it for 4.
probably gonna lose a little bit of strength but that's unavoidable. then ill be running another cycle in december. rule of thumb is time on (including PCT) = time off. so 2 months on and i need at least 2 months off before i do another cycle.

PCT = post cycle therapy. basically its getting your natural testosterone production back up to normal. if i were to just stop my cycle and not do PCT, it would take MONTHS for my natural test to get back to normal levels. then you lose your gains and possibly even end up with less muscle than when you started the cycle.Kerzo wrote:Whats pct? the big gap between cycles is so your body can recover from the cycle and return to homeostasis. you want your body to have a period of normalcy before jacking up your hormones again.
and yes i put on about 10 pounds of muscle. a lot of it in my chest, shoulders, and back.
